Despite efforts made in several countries, the African continent is not on track to meet the food security and nutrition targets of the Sustainable Development Goal 2 on Zero Hunger for 2030, and certainly the Malabo targets of ending hunger and all forms of malnutrition by 2025.

The most recent estimates show that nearly 282 million people in Africa (about 20 percent of the population) were undernourished in 2022, an increase of 57 million people since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

About 868 million people were moderately or severely food-insecure and more than one-third of them – 342 million people – were severely food-insecure (The UN/FAO)

The African food production system, largely dependent on its smallholder farmers (who produce over 80% of the food consumed in Africa), is suffering from massive under-productivity due to lack of access to some key fundamental requirements (Being addressed by RiceAfrika’s FarmEASY Operating System).

Farm4Me is another initiative geared towards increasing food production in Africa as we have to all complement what our smallholder farmers are doing.

With 65% of the uncultivated arable land of the world, Africa's comparative advantage is in converting this asset into the food production hub of the world.

We can only do that if we attract all agriculture enthusiasts into farming.

So, do you own a farm and you are finding it difficult to manage?

Are you interested in farming but you don’t have the time or know how?

Are you interested in ending food insecurity in Africa?

Do you want to own a farm without the usual stress that comes with its management?

Then FARM4ME is for you…

Let us farm for you so that together we can build an Africa that will feed itself and feed the world.
